Social Media Policy
A common concern that comes up at our tech tools trainings is "Should our organization have a social media policy?" To answer that question, it may help to see examples of other policies that have been developed. Here is the most comprehensive list of examples I have found so far.
Of the ones I have looked at so far, I like the Red Cross' example.

Google Wave on video
Check out the Epipeho video......to see how they explain google wave but also to think about how we could use video clips ( and help others) to explain complex ideas quickly and ( whenever possible) in a fun way.

Why blogs are easier for readers
My top three reasons
Blogs are shorter than a newsletter making it easier for your readers to skim content (which is what most people will do)
Blogs have an online archive by date and key words making it easy for your readers to search your content.
Blogs let readers comment make it easy for your readers to talk to you. Readers can ask questions and add additioal information or resources.
